The Legal Project Coordinator coordinates the execution of department initiatives in order to achieve regional objectives. This position provides administrative and program support for the Office of Legal Affairs.

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Duties for the Legal Project Coordinator include:
Serve as point of contact for Enterprise Security program (ESP) and Compliance program, including documenting incident reports and inquiries; responding and escalating, as needed.
Research issues and gather information from various sources.
Compile, write, and edit a variety of routine, sensitive and confidential material, including correspondence, memos, and reports.
Support the ESP Program Manager and Compliance team in efforts to create and spread ESP protocols, training, resources throughout clinical Operations and leadership.
Receive and screen telephone calls and emails; schedule appointments and meetings; resolve routine problems and refer other matters to appropriate staff members.
Prepare and update recurring and routine internal reports, collect and verify data, refer problems to manager for resolution.
Maintain and update department files, publications, database entries, and other records; maintain confidential files and materials.
Schedule meetings and appointments; notify attendees and make necessary arrangements.
Conduct follow-up calls or other communication with clients, vendors, and others as necessary.
Assist in the preparation and control of records, statistics, analysis, and reports regarding program.
Assist other staff in the Office of Legal Affairs with compliance investigations, research, analysis and other programmatic work as needed.
Maintain monthly management reports, including tools to track action items, issues, risks, decisions, status reports, and timelines. Oversee and direct all initiative coordination activities. Function as a contact person for information and direction related to department/program.
Support multi-disciplinary initiative workgroups in the development of detailed plans and tools to meet objectives. Use facilitation and collaboration to build plans that are supported by key stakeholders.
Supports efforts to develop content for communications, QA summaries, and presentations. Reviews, creates and updates professional training materials, policies and procedures and guidelines to assist manages. Manage development of content for Online Tools and associated websites. Identifies and works to remove barriers to successful completion of the overall process.
Supports the team or department, including agenda and meeting material creation, issue and decision making tracking, status reporting, and documentation management.
Provide other technical and project support duties as assigned.
Serves as resource, acting as a mentor and coach in assisting team members.
Provides back-up support to team as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field, OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field.
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum three plus (3+) years of experience in applicable project-related work experience.
Experience interacting with stakeholders and coordinating projects.
Two (2) years of customer-facing experience, including customer service responsibilities
Preferred Work Experience
Minimum five (5) years of experience working with Medical Operations at KPNW.
Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Project Coordinator.
Minimum two (2) years of experience coordinating the work of others.
Thorough working knowledge of MS Project.
Thorough working knowledge of web-site development.
One year of experience in a healthcare setting
One year of experience in a legal department or law office
One year of experience conducting confidential, sensitive investigations
Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies and Tools.
Proven ability to plan, prioritize and deliver within constrained timeline.
Proficient computer skills of Microsoft Office products (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project).
Knowledge of web site development and management tools.
Self-starter, highly motivated and accurate and detailed in performance of work responsibilities/tasks.
